We read George's Marvelous Medicine by Roald Dahl and we had so much fun finding out what happened when he made up a magic medicine, we decided to make up our own in KC!
Into our pot we put nail polish remover, brown shoe laces, shampoo, hand lotion, toothpaste (2 kinds), mouth wash, hair gel, brown paint, cotton balls, hand sanitizer and a few other non-edible items!
Then the girls wrote down their recipes and what would happen if you actually took their medicine:
Daisy's Medicine: will give you the giggles!
Georgia's Medicine: will make you explode!
Gretel's Medicine: will turn you into a cow!
Jordyn's Medicine: will make you blow up!
Lani's Medicine: you will flip over!
Madeleine's Medicine: you will shrink...
Naomi's Medicine: you will go crazy and stand on your head!
Noa's Medicine: you will change colors!
Olivia's Medicine: you will explode!
Penelope's Medicine: your mouth will get all soapy...
Rhea's Medicine: you will get the giggles!
Samya's Medicine: you will begin to whistle out of your ears!
Victoria's Medicine: you will explode!
Zoe's Medicine: your mouth will taste like soap...
It is so much fun to make up a magical recipe -
just remember it is just for fun and NOT for actually eating!
