Definition of Bravery

What does it mean to be brave?

Zoe: You have to be brave when you are on a tree.  And if you fall off, you do it again.
Victoria: If you are brave, you do not give up.
Samya: When you get stung by a bee, you have to be brave, because if another bee comes near you and they buzz around your ears, it does not mean they are going to sting you.
Rhea: If you want to jump down from the tallest tree, you have to jump down - even if you are scared, because you can make it all the way down.  Yah, I did it!
Quinn: If you are scared, you can ask somebody to come with you.  If you are getting braver, you can try to do it by yourself.
Penelope: When somebody makes you jump off a cliff, you have to be brave and jump!
Olivia: People are brave when they want to help other people.
Noa: If you go down something and you are scared, close your eyes and then open up your eyes when you get to the bottom.
Naomi: Brave means you have to do something, even if everybody else can't do it - you are the one, you can do it!
Madeleine: If you want to go into a cave and you are scared, you can ask someone to go with you.
Lani: If you were ice skating and you fell down, you would have to stand up and keep trying!
Jordyn: If you want to go down a ladder, you can be brave forever.
Gretel: You have to be brave to climb a tree and go down a ladder.
Georgia: If you are scared to go down a giant slide and you don't know how to - ask somebody for help.
Daisy: If you climb up a big ladder  -if you fall - it is okay, you just get back up on the ladder again.
