Mrs. Szalay lead us on a hike through our woods to Apple Mountain. Along the way we stopped to make discoveries about our woods, from finding a fuzzy caterpillar, to learning how soft a large heart shaped leaf was, to passing a stream. When we reached the top of Apple Mountain we all sat down and ate our favorite kind of apple! Then we threw our apple cores down the side of the mountain to gives them animals a tasty treat, before we headed back to school. The weather was fantastic, everyone had fun just being together, and now we all know what our favorite kind of apple is!
