I have Eric Carle's address, so we decided to write him a letter! Everyone was asked to contribute to the letter, either asking Eric Carle a question or sharing relevant information.
Here is the letter we wrote:
Dear Eric Carle,
We think your art is beautiful! My Dad's name is Eric. How do you make your books - like how do you put the pages together? Is your studio messy? Your art room looked messy in your movie... We like how you make the pictures out of your paper. We made paper like you! We made fireflies and cut them out from the paper we made. We are very happy you became an artist, because you are good at painting. We liked learning how to make paper like you. What is your favorite color? We are reading a lot of books with your name on it. The giant didn't scare us! We like reading your books. We like making art like you. We are artists, too!
